2010 Frontier Adventure - Oct 1,2, 2010 - The Range
Starting at 2:00 pm Friday
The Frontier
Camping Fellowship (FCF) is designed to recognize boys and men who
have shown exceptional interest and outstanding achievement in the
Royal Rangers program. FCF helps to emphasize the importance of the
Royal Rangers advancement program, development of campcraft skills,
Christian service to others, and completion of leadership training
programs. FCF can provide a young Royal Ranger many opportunities
for growth and development. FCF endeavors to develop in each member
the same courageous and undaunted spirit of the early frontiersman.
We encourage Royal Rangers who meet the requirements to become a
member of the FCF. Induction into FCF involves completion of the
Frontier Adventure – to be held Oct 1,2, 2010.
To be eligible, boys and men must have earned the following merits –
Firecraft, Ropecraft, Toolcraft, Camping, Compass, First Aid Skills,
Cooking, and Lashing. Leaders must have completed the Ranger Basics
module of the LTA. Both Boys and leaders must be recommended by
their Outpost Commander and Pastor and be selected by the FCF staff.
Nominations are submitted on the FCF application form -

Notices:
We need as many chapter members as possible to attend to help
conduct the Frontier Adventure. Classes to be taught will include
trap setting, hawk throwing, knife throwing, fire starting, and
frontier outfits. Frontiersmen looking to advance to Buckskin will
need to participate in a Frontier Adventure. There will be no event
fees for chapter members attending the Frontier Adventure. Please
submit applications for greenhorn candidates as soon as possible so
proper preparations can be made.
Buckskin Adventure
October 2, 2010 – starting at 10:00 am on Saturday - The Range
Frontiersmen looking to advance to Buckskin will have the
opportunity to complete the Buckskin Adventure on Saturday, Oct 2
starting at 10:00 am. Please view the requirements for Buckskin
advancement -
